My name is Jay Godfrey, and I am a Game Design graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design! I enjoy sci-fi and fantasy games, with my favorite franchises being Halo and Pokemon. I mostly work on high-fantasy games, with "Abhorrent Abyss" being my capstone class' final product. I love strong narratives in games, and games that have deep lore to them. If I end up exploring a level to try and find some extra narrative bits that help build the world some more, I'll end up in love with the game. The first time that I did this was in Halo: Reach, and that game remains one of my all-time favorite games to this day.

I'm also a huge D&D nerd, and I will happily talk TTRPGs with anyone.

While working on Build-A-Bear Tycoon, I worked to organize our team, keeping us on track for releases and live ops.
As a Game Design major at SCAD, I participated in multiple Game Jams. A board game I worked on, "In the Xixian Shadows," won Best Board Game at the SCAD Entelechy Awards in 2020.
